Cindy Bassford, PhD, PA-C

   Cindy is a certified physician assistant that earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Medical Immunology and Microbiology from the University of Florida in 2007.  She then received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida in 2009.  She is currently certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed through the State of Florida Board of Medicine.  She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Florida Academy Physician Assistants.   Cindy has been practicing in the field of dermatology since 2014 and has a background in primary care and endocrinology.  She specializes in general dermatology including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin cancer and skin diseases.  She understands the importance of patient education and quality skin care.  Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband and playing with her dogs.
